This is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the late-war Soviet heavy tank, the IS-2 Stalin II, in 1/72 scale. With a finished length of approximately 13cm and a body length of about 9cm, it faithfully replicates the robust appearance of the tank.
The kit includes parts for two vehicles, with 44 parts for each vehicle. Assembly is straightforward, with integrated suspension parts, allowing for easy construction. You can enjoy building both vehicles with different markings.
The long barrel design, along with the texture of the cast body and turret, gives a sense of weight even in 1/72 scale. Additionally, the turret features a detailed model of the DShK machine gun, enhancing the mechanical appearance.
Together with spare fuel tanks that can be attached to the body, this model creates a mechanical aesthetic. It’s perfect for showcasing painting techniques such as simulating cast texture and weathering.
