This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
Armored vehicles are indispensable to increase mobility of infantry; various types of armored vehicles have been developed and operated in each country, but the iconic wheeled armored vehicle developed by Australia is the Bushmaster. It was based on a design from Timoney Technology of Ireland. It’s equipped with a 7.2-liter six-cylinder engine with a turbocharger; its armor-protected body can withstand 7.62mm firearms fire, and its uniquely shaped hull offers protection from mines. The Japan Ground Self-Defense Force’s vehicle is equipped with a turret, can accommodate eight soldiers, and is armed with a 5.56mm machine gun MINIMI. It was first introduced to the JGSDF in 2015, and eight Bushmasters are currently in operation.
This model kit from Dragon reproduces the Bushmaster’s powerful, boxy style with integrated slide-molded parts for the upper and lower part of the hull; the windows are transparent and photo-etched parts are included.
