Check out this 1/72Polish Renault R35 Light Tank scale model from FTF!This light tank was developed as a modernisation of the Renault FT light tank of the First World War.It had a maximum armour of 40mm, a speed of 20km/h, a main gun with no anti-tank capability and a crew of two which made it difficult to operate effectively, but it was seen as a useful piece of equipment in many countries.In Poland, 100 tanks were contracted for purchase and the first batch of 50 were deployed in the 21 Tank Battalion under the direct command of the headquarters.During the 1939 war, most of the tanks were in training and some were deployed in independent companies, while the Soviet invasion saw them escape to Romania, so they did not play a major role in the war.
