This is a resin detail parts set for use with military vehicle kits.
This detail parts set recreates the muzzle brake of the 76mm M1A2 gun and the barrels of the 7.62mm M1919 machine gun, which were mounted on the M4A3E8 Sherman “Easy Eight” medium tank used by the U.S. Army during World War II. It is designed for the Takom/Andy’s Hobby Headquarters (AHHQ) kits.
The parts are designed to fit directly onto the metal barrels included in the kit. The muzzle brake is a 3D-printed, single-piece part that accurately reproduces the external shape as well as the internal rifling. The base of the brake is a separate part and is attached with screws, just like the real vehicle. The set also includes two 7.62mm M1919 machine gun barrels, which were mounted on the tank’s hull and turret.
