This is a set of injection-plastic accessories for detailing AFV kits.
“VVSS” is an abbreviation for “Vertical Volute Spring Suspension,” which was the predominant type used on the M4 Sherman tank and variants (there was also the very different “HVSS,” with the “H” standing for “Horizontal”). This kit depicts the mid-production style of VVSS, including a set of six bogey units with dish-type road wheels and also a pair of sprockets and idlers, all made of injection-molded plastic. Suspension arms are workable with the help of rubber dampers. A highly detailed set, recommended for replacing lesser-detailed VVSS units on older M4 Sherman kits.
