This is the RissoCraft 1/35 WWII German Panzer III 5cm KwK39 L/42 Barrel with Coil-Embedded Canvas Cover Style 1 (for Dragon Models).
This detail-up parts set accurately reproduces the 5cm KwK39 L/42 barrel with a dust-proof canvas cover featuring an internal coil, as seen on Panzer III F/G/H/J models of the 10th Panzer Division in Tunisia in 1943.
Designed for Dragon Model kits, this set can also be adapted for other manufacturers’ kits with slight adjustments to the recoil cover.
Style 1 represents the shorter canvas cover with five coil segments.
The barrel, canvas cover, and base are integrally molded, with intricate details such as rifling inside the muzzle and the natural sag of the canvas due to gravity.
The rear recoil cover is provided as a separate part.
