This is a resin-cast figure or figure set for use with military dioramas or individual display.
This figure set features the driver and passenger occupants of a WWII U.S. military transport truck.
The driver wears a knit hat with a brim, goggles, and a field jacket.
The soldier wearing a helmet and giving instructions from the passenger seat wears a field mackinaw coat.
Developed and produced by the American Dodge Corporation, a total of about 260,000 WC trucks with payload capacities of 1/2-3/4 tons were produced in the series and were used by the U.S. Army from mid-WWII through the Korean War, and about 60,000 were also operated by the Soviet Army through lend-lease.
